Make-A-Friend Online 2nd Beta! Day 3

Day 3 of MAF Online! I have a lot of screenshots this time around~

Make-A-Friend Online 2nd Beta! Day 2

Bad news is, I didn't get the job at the pizza factory. They stopped hiring almost right after I applied. :( Good news is, that means I can play MAF more. :) I'm still searching for a job, though, so there might be a point in this Closed Beta where I can't play much at all... but I've had fun so far. ^^

A lot happened on Day 2 of the 2nd Closed Beta, but I forgot to take a lot of screenshots. ;( So there are only a few, sorry. >.<

I went to town and chatted with everyone there. :) We were discussing how the Korean words showed up as a bunch of numbers for Remy and me. xD

I bought and dyed a new outfit, of course. ;) It's so bright red, I taste cherries just looking at it. :D

I fished on a few Nar Islands and fished up some fish I hadn't found on Gera Island. :)

Remy came to visit and we fished together on my island (or islands, judging by my design ^^) That little island in the back is a work in progress. ;) I'm not going to say any more about it just yet.

I spent most of the day fishing. It's a fun pastime. :) The GM Make A FrienD and crazylulu visited my island a bit later and we talked for a bit. We went on the little island and I told them I had an idea for it, but it's still a secret, even to them. ;)

What awaits day 3? I don't know but I'm sure it'll be fun. ^^

Make-A-Friend Online 2nd Beta! Day 1

MAF Online is back for another beta test! Here's some of the changes and new experiences I've encountered on Day 1 of the beta test.

The first thing I noticed was that my baby Bel was wearing baby clothes!

Isn't he precious? :3

We received a new boat to play around with. This is the cutest boat ever. :D

I went back to Mafin Harbor after a long time and got to meet a lot of old friends from the last Closed Beta. :) It was good to get in touch with them again. The friendslist system was added in this beta. Also, being able to dye clothes has been implemented in this beta and I dyed one of my outfits purple. ^^ I blinked on purpose, to look fancy. *wink wink*

With the friendslist system comes the ability to visit eachother's islands. Here's a new friend of mine named Simple, who simply couldn't see the GIANT blue coconut right next to me. We figured out that not all of the island visiting features were implemented yet.

qw was one of the few people who chose Nar Island instead of Gera. I went to take a look at her island and gathered many items that I didn't have on my island. She also caught a lot of strange and interesting fish I've never encountered on my island.

I was wondering if any of those fish that she caught were found in the deep, so I set off and sailed to literally the edge of the world to see if I could find any deep sea fish... no luck, though.

Just when I thought I was lost in the scary deep blue sea, I found my way back home again... my island in the distance. Home sweet home. :)

It's good to be back! I might not be able to play near as much, though, because I'm most likely getting a job working night shift at a pizza factory... which takes up most of the hours the beta is open for. Regardless, I'll play when I can and enjoy every minute of it like I always do. ^^

Make-A-Friend Online Beta - Day 5

This is definitely a late post, because I've been busy, but here it is nonetheless. :)

I grew tons of palm trees. xD It's like a jungle!

I wanted to see what an apple tree looked like, so I grew one here. Pretty red~
Apples take a lot longer to grow on Gera than Nar.
Just as Oranges take a lot longer to grow on Nar then Gera.

I went out to buy another new fashion. :) It's refreshing to change every once in a while~

I bought all the pieces to the Basic Furniture Set, the only house furniture available in this beta. :P

That's it~ My blogs have gotten shorter and shorter, but that's because this game does not have much in it yet. This is the basic of the basic. There is so much more to be added later and I still like the game as it is now. Thanks again MAF team, I can't wait to play more in the future!

Make-A-Friend Online Beta - Day 4

Hello again~ I spent the entire day baking cakes pretty much. My high school graduation party is on Saturday and A LOT of people are coming, so I thought I'd make them something sweet for taking the time to congratulate me. :P I'm actually kind of embarrassed to be the center of attention. xD

Well, when I first got on MAF today, I just finished making some grilled cheese and tomato soup, so I just sat in town and chatted with everyone while I ate. :)

We all agree that huskies are ADORABLE and would be a good idea for a Bel.

Remy got on the roof by jumping on trees with his air board. I wanted to join him!

Finally made it. :) Took a lot of tries, but I made it!
Being able to stand on this balcony was pretty neat.

I managed to get to the blue building. I like the color blue more than brown. lol

I bought yet another outfit. :P With spare change, why not?

I came home and showed Orion my new outfit. We match!

I had a long day in the real world, so I didn't do much in MAF today. xD
I'm rather sleepy and I'm off to bed! Have a wonderful day/night everyone~

Make-A-Friend Online Beta - Day 3

Hello again! I've had another fantastic day in Make-A-Friend Online!

The single rose I grew finally bloomed.

My orchard finally grew up as well! I think it's a bit crowded~

I went to Mafin Harbor a few times today and got caught up in some really nice conversations. I feel bad because I forgot to take screenshots there. :S It was really nice getting to know you guys better. :)

My giant orchard of oranges provided me with enough money to buy the rest of the Indian outfit! I love it. :)

I was being silly and acted like a barbarian. Indian hungry! >:\

I went fishing and came across some very difficult fish to catch. I didn't catch this one. :(
I wonder what it was.

I caught a yummy-looking fish and Orion came running. He was hungry, too~

Not yet, Orion! I have to put some pretty fish in my Aquarium first.
Thanks for the gift, MAF Team! (And specifically "the-guy-who-programs-stuff" according to Make A FrienD ingame GM ^^)

We sat at the new dining table set that I bought while I was in town. It took me like 30 minutes to get Orion to sit down properly (no lie). He was too anxious to eat! And yeah, I know I sit weird. I can't help that I'm programmed that way (for the time being?). :P

After we ate, we both looked out at the ocean. It's so pretty. Sometimes you just have to stop what you're doing and just look out over the deep blue (or very pretty light blue in this case.)

Random explosion! Because who doesn't like explosions?

I made Orion stand next to a Giant Orange so I could take a picture. Looks kind of Halloween-y.


I hope this isn't considered animal cruelty. He didn't seem to enjoy it.. but it was funny!
He laughed when he saw the picture later, I promise~

It amazes me how much fun can be had in a game, even when only very basic things are available. I already have this much fun now, and there's a lot more features to be implemented later. I'm really glad Remy told me about this game. And I'm also really glad to play it. It feels like I'm one of those rich people who gets to go on vacation all the time and brag about it.. except I don't have to spend all that money to enjoy what they are~ Thanks for making such a fun and relaxing game, guys, and keep up the good work!

The next two days might be pretty busy for me, so I might not be able to make a blog or even get on the game. Thanks for the fun times thus far and I can't wait to play in the future! :)

Make-A-Friend Online Beta - Day 2

Today I decided to grow a lot of fruit trees for my Bel and for Lifs (experience). Since I live on a Gera island, Orange Trees grow faster.

After I planted all my trees, I went fishing for Lifs and gold (money). I caught some pretty interesting things. :)

Orion was getting kind of hungry, so I went to gather some fruit for him (I know, a cat who doesn't eat fish but fruit!? xD) from my quince trees.

Press C to bring up your character screen and right click your tool to unequip it.

It's a twig! Not only does fruit fall from trees, twigs do, too.

Orion and I relaxed for an hour after we ate, then we went swimming~

He's in deep concentration, even in his floaty~

I felt like going somewhere. Mafin Harbor looked like a good destination.

I wonder what's out there? Tons of islands to explore, I bet.

We met the GM and she tried on Indian clothes for me to see. They're so cute~

I was inspired, so I bought myself a pair of Indian boots and hiked in the woods by the harbor with Orion~

We found a vacant blimp tied to a post on the harbor and we sat in it for a while~ You can't see Orion because he's really short. xD

I found my friend, Remy, and we hung out on the train. Notice, Orion's floating!

After an outing, we went back home to relax for the rest of the day.
